Hello Community!

We have a problem with one of our CMS servers, and are trying to find a solution for it.

Everyday, the Server restarts, for appearantly no reason at all.
We have no knowledge of network problems, or general electrical problems in the area where it is located.

Type: Avaya S8720, Software Load: R015x.02.1.016.4

We tried turning the System Clocks/IPSI Interchange to "n", but that showed no result, the server still reboots everyday.
What am I missing? What might cause such a problem?

Are you asking about Communications Manager (CM) or Call Management System (CMS)?

Kevin

Communication Manager, sorry, should have been more specific...

We have a main server (CM), originally we had configured, that the System Clocks/IPSI Interchange happens daily, also Control Channel Interchange was set to daily. We want to turn this off, but the Interchange happens none-the-less, despite both options set to "n

Ok so there is a memory leak issue with that build , if you can log into the shell of cm and type

>restartcause

This will give you a better idea of what is going on in your environment (is it Sip by any chance??)

In any event you want to be looking at upgrading to the latest build of 5.2.1 if you have no intention of a 6.3 upgrade.
