We are having problems running cms supervisor R12 on Citrix. We used to run R9 without any problems, but have upgraded recently. The problems we are having is buttons not displaying properly, run time errors when running reports and things like that. On a normal PC it runs 100%. I would appreciate any assistance.

Aaah, good old Citrix!! Always caused problems when I was running CMS r8 too. Many of the errors are caused because the CACHE.TMP that is stored (usually) in the c:\program files\avaya\centrevu supervisor\cache folder is being used by many people, file corruption happens almost straight away (or very soon and very regular). The onyl way to clear it is to close ALL Centrevu processes and delete the tmp file - if multiple users are using it then all will need to close centrevu. There is no way that I know of to prevent it from happening, however it can be made easier by instructing Centrevu to store it's TMP file elsewhere; for example, if the users network user drive is mapped to x: change the following registry key accordingly:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Avaya\CentreVu Supervisor\9.0\Repositories]
"PCCache"="x:\cvscache"

When each user runs their copy of Centrevu the tmp file will be created in x:\cvscache. This way if the file becomes corrupt, the user can ensure that all Centrevu processes are closed and delete the file themselves.

Cheers,
NJ
