CME - TAPI support - associate devices/phones

Is it possible to associate multiple phones to a single username to provide events for all phones to the same username/application (ie- CCM4/5/6 allowed associations to same AppUserID)?
Does CME really only allow a single App/TSP username be assigned to a single phone?
I don't actually need to control or emulate a phone, I just need to receive events for selected phones using the same App/User.

Any assistance would be appreciated...
