well, not exactly. I've got a program which runs on login (XP PRO on W2K Network)in a cmd prompt window and modifies the windows wallpaper to show the logged in user name (we're a school district and would like to make sure we know who's really logged in). The program works fine, but while it's executing, the cmd prompt window is open. The kids have figured out they can stop the file from executing if they just close the window. What I'd like to have happen, is the program runs without opening the window.
