CMC publish and shadowing?

ANy one know a way areound publishing the CMC through citrix and yet still be able to shadow at the same time?

ABout the only thing i can come up with is publish VNC to a box with the CMC installed on it and shadow from there, but thats just cumbersome and painful..

any other ideas?

Couldn't you just publish the exe of the cmc program itself?..

Sometimes, you just have to forget your head and grab your balls ...!

Need to make sure the Ica client is installed too.
As a matter of interest why are we running it from the server ?

Its published, but acacording to citrix documentation this isnt a supported feature, hence shadowing is not available from the Citrix Server itseld, only a client with the CMC tools installed on.

Instale on the server becuase if im at a webcafe in hawaii can still connect and remotely support someone if required, without having to worry about the carrying a laptop with VPn etc (obviously a web cafe wont support a VPN or the install of the CMC...)

So the cmc IS published but shadowing is unavailable.

If I were in Hawaii trust me I would not be in a cyber cafe supporting users.

If it is unsupported then it is unsupported. Could you RDP on to your desktop and run from there ?
