Every time I boot up, the following message appears on the screen and frankly I'd like to fix it or keep it from coming up at all. "Unable to connect to the CCD" CManager? What is that?

If at first you don't succeed, reboot!

This is usually software installed by your ISP. CCD is the "Motive" tracing tool from Broadjump, and CManager is a connection manager installed by several ISPs, notably SBC Yahoo.
