ok not research the error or that yet but thought i would get opinions first or if people has seen this

put in a test cluster on friday aftie for testing prior to migrating

build 2 X dl580's each with 2 36gb drives - hardware raid 1 just for dos part and sys - installed smartstart 6.41 , edir 8.7 , netware 6 sp3 , lall latest patches
installed one fibre card in each (real one with have two)
on san created 2 seperate storage arrays - labled as lun 16 and 17

installed secure paths on both and verified both servers can see the storage space

ran nwdploy - selected both servers to join cluster (should you just do 1) - selected shared storage and it seen both - selected to mirror the sbd
after install checked objects ok in console1 but the second server isnt a cluster member

reboot them and cluster 2 seems to have a prob finding sbd

should i remove from cluster and readd. then sp the cluster services - is this coz i've miirored them or ?
i restarted with no secure paths and still same

sorry for long post just want peoples feelings - re mirroring , install secure paths stuff and so on

san is using 2 hsg80's

ok

i ran sbd install on second server
this asks if you want to mirror
you say yes and it ask for first partition then second
then it all works

so i'm assuming it's probably best to add first one then rerun nwdeploy against second one but above works ok
