jacksk,
Somewhere on your hard drive, there should be a file called SCANPST.EXE, it may be located in "C:\Program Files\Windows Messaging". Or it may exist in your Start Menu under "Programs", "Accessories", "System Tools", and named "Inbox Repair Tool". This utility, apart from scanning and sometimes repairing PST files for Outlook, can sometimes resolve problems with PAB files.
Try running SCANPST.EXE, and click on the Browse button, to find your PAB file. In the Browse window, there is a drop down box labelled "Files of Type" which contains the entry "Personal Folders (*.pst)". Change the entry to "All Files (*.*)". Browse the file system for your PAB file. Once you have highlighted your damaged file, click on Open. Click on Start to execute the Scan. Check the box labelled "Make backup of scanned file before repairing". It will suggest storing the backup in the existing PAB file folder. Accept this and click on Repair. The utility should then return a message "Repair complete".
Try adding the PAB file to your mail profile, and hopefully it may work this time.....
