Hi ,I have a query. When i hide the columns and then hit the close button, it gives me the message "Do you want to save the query" .I never want to save the query with any changes made to it. Is there anything i could write in the close event so that the query does not get saved automatically?

Thanks.

I think this is the code you would use.
DoCmd.Close acQuery, "queryname", acSaveNo

I am not sure there is a way to attach code to a query. you might have to use a form to do this.
