Right, but if the user has moved to a different record, clicked on the record indicator, or hit the Save Record menu item, it will be too late for this. That may be OK in your situation, I'm not sure. In some it's not.
If it's not OK, you'll have to play with an unbound form and a recordset, or get into ADO and play with an unbound recordset. Check out those ideas in the help files if that's what you need.
