Is it possible to have CLIP through Analog CO lines?
Any specific version of the system or TN for CO card?

Administering Analog Caller ID (Switch)
The TN2793B and TN793B analog line circuit packs can be administered to
deliver Incoming Calling Line Identification (ICLID) data to stand-alone analog
Caller ID display units or analog telephones with built-in Caller ID display units.
For this feature to work, the serving central office (CO) must support delivery of
Caller ID information over the trunks that are serving the switch. To administer this
feature, do the following:
n Administer the Caller ID system options.
n Administer stations with Caller ID options.
Administering Caller ID
Use the change system-parameters features command to select the Caller ID
protocol that matches the protocol used by the Caller ID units or telephones, and
to enable display of Caller ID information for room-to-room calls. These options
are set on a system-wide basis.

Thank You for replying.
Actually i wanted to know if Anaog CO lines could deliver CLIP.
I have service providers who provide CLIP on Analog CO lines, this is verified by connecting a CLIP phone on the CO line, but when this CO line is terminated on the EPABX I am not able to get the CLIP on the Trunk trace.

Thanks again,

So u are getting caller id from the LEC to a CO trunk, but u can't see it with the trace? And u have the appropriate trunk card that provides CLID?

exactly my query.. i dont know which cards and which version supports this. can u shed some lite..

Oh I see, those circuit packs are packs connecting to the analog line, not the trunk circuit packs. Sorry, the ones for the trunk circuity pack are TN429D (ICLID incoming call line identification) provides 8 ports for direct
inward/outward dialing (DIOD) trunks. Each port provides a 2-wire interface to the central office (CO) public exchange for incoming and outgoing calls. The CO provides caller
names and numbers to the TN429D, which displays them on DEFINITY digital telephones (DCP and BRI) equipped with a 32- or 40-character alphanumeric display,
and with System 25/MERLIN 7315H and 7317H terminals supported by DEFINITY. This
feature is supported in the United States (name and number) and Japan (number only)
and countries that comply with either requirements.
