clients login lag & GP doesnt work

clients (xp pro sp2) take forever to login...just hangs for 3 minutes or so...

new group policy only works on one of the computers in the lab. the gpo on the server has a small exclamation at the bottom corner of it.

Look if there is not a block somewhere.

Check the DNS Settings on the clients. I have seen misconfigured DNS settings cause long logons. The Primary DNS should be the Active Driectory Integrated DNS Server in your domain.

I would disable group policy for the test. Or this troubleshooting may help,
