Hi,

I'm experiencing this strange problem and I strongly feel its due to a Win 2000 NAT error.

I have win2000 Advanced Server installed with NATing enabled for around 50 Users in the LAN.DHCP is not installed on the NAT Server. Two network adapter card are used for the LAN & WAN sides respectively.

Everyone gets connected to the internet. In the past few weeks, I've noticed that everyday, either one or two users loose their internet connection.

To get them connected, I have to go to Network and Dial-up connections, disable and re-enable the connection (LAN & WAN) on doing so the users who were not able to connect can now connect.

Please help.

Hi,

I'm experiencing this strange problem and I strongly feel its due to a Win 2000 NAT error.

I have win2000 Advanced Server installed with NATing enabled for around 50 Users in the LAN.DHCP is not installed for NAT Server, cause I have another seperate DHCP Server.

How can I prevent this from happening ???
