I'm using an Access 2000 project as my client and SQL Server 2000 as my server. Everything works great except for one location. I've narrowed the connection problem down to their firewall. Their IT department said "just route it through our proxy" and gave me the address....unfortunately, there's no place in Access 2000 project under the connection area to put a proxy. If I could see an example where the proxy is used in a data connection string, it would help.

Any ideas? Will loading the 'Analysis Services' on my SQL Server allow me to use an http datasource directly (from Access project)? I say that since their proxy is configured to handle internet addresses (http's) automatically, it just doesn't like TCP/IP address.

TIA
