Client/Server programming using Delphi

Hello! I need to write a client/server application which
will enable a group of users to login on a server and
chat. Is Delphi good enough for writing such an application?
Do you know of any sample client/server application with
source code that I can get? Or any good tutorial/book
online?

I think there's the making of an application as you're mentioning in the samples provided with Delphi 5. If memory serves me correctly theres a 'Internet' folder in the 'Demos' or 'Samples' and in this a 'Chat' folder.
I hope this proves a helpful starting point for you.

You can try the socket programming form the "MASTERING DELPHI" bu the MARCO CANTU. Go to the socket programming chapter mdify the code to get it work for the chat u will be able to do that.You have to use client socket or server socket
