Hi,

One of the users reported that the times on their emails were wrong, so I used Message tracking to check it out. The server reported the times of the message delivery correctly, however when you look at the mailbox from outlook the times on the messages are all messed up by several hours. Any ideas?

complete shot in the dark but is the users time settings correct?

Hi,

Yes the users pc time settings are correct and the time zone is correct as well, its a strange one, any other ideas?

Does this mailbox reside in the same site? Can you give us an idea on how your Exhange organization is setup? Sounds like an MTA issue but I am just making a guess without knowing how your site or sites are setup.

I've had the same problem. All times and time zones on servers and clients are correct, but mail that arrives on a person's destop could say it was received at 1.30am, when it appeared in their inbox at 9.00am.

I've yet to find an answer, but will keep digging.

I've had this problem before too, but it was always that the TimeZone was different on the client desktop. Or it could be an MTA issue crossing servers and sites? Look for any messages in Event viewer. Make sure no MTA services have stopped.
