we have migrated from exchange 5.5 to exchange 2003

all seems to be working well, except for outlook client issues

When a user first opens outlook (version 2000), it will take almost 20 minutes to load outlook. but if I startup the exchange 5.5 server running with exchange 2003 the outlook client opens right away.

All public folders and mailboxes point to the new exchange server

any ideas

Thaks in advance

sounds like a corrupt profile, which still has links to the old 5.5 server

I would have the user delete the old profile and create a new one pointing to the new server.

Post our migration, we were also good until we decommished the old 5.5 servers and noticed some profiles were the same way. We could edit/remove certain files to fix it, but I forgot and essentially the easiest method was just create a new profile.

Thanks for the info, I wasnt sure if it was an issue with the migration, where I might have forgotten a step or process that needed to be performed.
