Client Exluded Files

Does Veritas have a cmd line tool to dump the files and directories excluded from the backups? NBsupport nor the runbook does not do it.

Hi,

you could use "bpplexclude"

To List excludes: bpplexclude <Policy_Name> -U
To Add excludes: bpplexclude <Policy_Name> -U -add <path_to_exclude>
To delete excludes: bpplexclude <Policy_Name> -U -delete <path_to_delete>

I was looking for the files that were excluded such as C:\temp etc. Below is what was returned using the -U

<2>bpplexclude: INITIATING: version NetBackup 4.5FP_3GA created:
<4>printcludes: null list pointer
<2>bpplexclude: EXIT status = 0
