I have been told that if you change a CLID table with it still assigned to phones that it will INI the switch. Does anybody no if this is true from past expeirances?
It is not true. I've taken out or tried to take out the Default Entry 0, don't know that it would let you, I could see that causing a problem. Changing an Entry does not, that's the whole point of not having to touch possible hundreds of sets, is to change entry instead.
I've had one instance where i was dialed into an OPT11 and the line took a hit and corrupted the CLID as I was changing it. Then when I would go to load 17 the switch would INI.
