Clearing reference in OUTLOOK "Other users Folder'

OUTLOOK 2000. User opens another user contacts by FILE>OPEN>Other users Folder.
Now each time they do FILE>OPEN in OUTLOOK, OUTLOOK remembers that and brings it up as a choice. My question is,if the user no longer has permission on the specific Mailbox and folder, How do you get rid of the reference in FILE>OPEN> so that that user folder no longer appears ?

The only way I have ever come up with is to delete the Outlook profile and create another one.

I am on Exchange 2000 So I had to do the following:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WIndowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\user_profile\

I deleted these: Good Luck.
