Cleaning up START-UP files

What are some of the better sites for listing start-up programs that can be deleted to improve performance, especialy if you think they are kept current and are accurate!?!?

Try disabling any unrequired services that are running in background.

Any Startup programs on your machine will probably be just the ones you have loaded yourself. All windows unnecesary programs are more than likely loaded as a service.
