Cleaning up Outlook address lists.

Hi. I have a friend who sends out informational E-mails to a number of present and former clients. Some of the messages have been returned because of E-mail addresses no longer being valid. I believe I can clean up the address book by exporting the addresses and the incoming messages to tables in FoxPro or Access and then delete the addresses for messages that were returned for having invalid E-mail addresses. I was wondering if there were any tips that people could offer or any pitfalls I should watch out for. Has nayone ever dealt with this problem before?

Here is a more specific question. I can figure out a way to get rid of invalid addresses, but what about cleaning up the groups?
