clean up screensavers 1

can someone please help me. i need to clean up screen savers and have lost my brain-can't remember. someone[my son] downloaded x-mas ss and guess what the x dont stand for christ. help ive lost it gonna beat him down.

Is it listed in Add/Remove programs? They usually can be found in C:\WINDOWS and have the .scr file name. Do a Find (Search) on *.scr and you should find it. Jim

thanks couldnt remember how, found a few in windows. looks like its time to do a quick restore, usually do this once a year. PEARL LOL i dont know how i got the smiley face but everytime i type lol it shows up. cool!

Pearl, at the bottom of "Your Reply" box click on the Emoticons/Smileys link and you'll see a lot of smileys and neat stuff you can use. Jim

I think this smiley came from another site, and it just follows me any time I type lol in caps lock. ANFPS26 the*.scr in find did the trick, had a lot of holiday screensavers and a few that wouldt go away. In my world you earned a star, I know there are some advanced tekers that think you have to re-invent the wheel to earn a star,but I think anyone who helps a fellow teker out would be proud to wear the tek-tip star. LOL PEARL
