Hi. Most of our clients are using W9X. We are currently using NetWare 4.11 and are in the process of migrating to W2K. I have read lots of threads regarding the best way to make W9X clients map to their home directories and I'm pretty confused.

From what I can tell, I have no choice but to add a line in the login script for EACH user that maps him or her to the user directory. In addition, I will need to individually share each user's home directory? Can someone please clarify if this will be necessary? Thanks.

Check out Novell 4.1 migration to w2k ad directory. This isn't the proper way do it, but we have a small network, and my boss is pushing me to get this done. It's just down and dirty, but it works. Glen A. Johnson
