I want to see the configuration of my CLAN & EPN.
But don't know how to view the conf.
We have G3si V9.

Rgds,
Dinehs

Want kind of config are you looking for? most of it is on board which doesn't allow a lot of tweaking as far as I know. I know its a 10base device that is basic routing functionality.

This may be what you are after. Try "display IP-Interfaces"

Mikey

That's correct Mike.
But we want to change ip address of the card and when we tried to change ip it says
"Must disable ip-interface before changing attributes"
How do u disable ip-int and what if disable it how would you connect to system and change the ip.

Dinesh

You would have to connect to the system through a serial port. You have to disable it in order to make the changes in the same sense you have to take a trunk group out of service to modify it.

I don't recall the commands off hand, but I'll dig and see if I can find them.

Do a "change IP-services" then change the "Enabled" field to N.

That will stop all IP on the on the switch so make sure you are connected via a physical terminal rather than telneted into the switch.

Good luck,

Ray

you need to enter change node-names ip in that form is the IP address on the CLAN. Before you do this change ip-intefaces and disable the ethernet port, you shouldn't lose your ip connection. Then you can change the ip address of the CLAN.
