If they won't spring for ghost professional, then they aren't going to like the alternative either.
Sounds like time to explain the facts of life to the management.
Add networking to each individual machine. Buy a backup machine with a burner, xcopy stuff across a temporary network connection and burn it on a cd.
Or go the zip drive route, and forget about having an image, reload OS and programs when neccessary and restore data from the zip.
You probably need to ease them to the network capability anyway. Ed Fair

This is a program that has several utilities. One of them is the ability to copy any partition to another drive. It runs pretty quickly. It is a download they do not charge for. well, i found a site thanks via one of the site members. as much as it kills me i can ghost a drive to another drive using i believe is the site. the program is slow but it works. thanks for the input everyone.
