We are in AD and would to deploy one citrix server in one farm. I have built the test citrix server and some apps work ok, but some dont. Where does the user profiles get saved to as when i start one program up it shows a screen at startup everytime normail this only happens the first time so does this mean its not saving the users settings n a profile.

If you are using Term Svr Profiles, the users profiles get copied to the MetaFrame each time they log onto it: (M:\Documents and Settings\%username% on the MetaFrame). Now, if you are using roaming profiles, then changes that are made while user is logged on, get copied back to the users Ter Svr Profile Directory when they log off.

Sorry, didn't ask, are you storing profiles on the actual Citrix Server, or are you using a file server (Term Svr Dir)....???

Profiles saved to where ever you specify in AD users and computers in Terminal Services profile path otherwise c:\documenjts and settingsz\username. SOunds like they are not running seamless windows.

Ok so I haven't specified a path so when you say Documents and setting is that on the citrix server by default ?

Yes on the citrix server by default. There is also a local policy that once you have the proper path set in AD the profiles are written back to the path and the documents and settings one gets deleted at logoff.
