Citrix Sever and TS on same server?

Just wondering if some one could answer this question for me.

At the moment I have several users connecting remotely to a TS via VPN and RDC. I also have several users that use VPN RDC via satellite and find the keyboard delay frustrating whilst working remotely.

I have been assured that connecting the satellite users via Citrix will ease this problem as Citrix provides a local echo.

What I would like to know is this....is it possible to run Citrix alongside terminal services on my TS?

It works better indeed. Two of my clients are in North America with High Speed ADSL 3Mb and they have other sites in Africa with 64Kb Satellite links. Citrix works very well however you will still have a certain lag... Yes you can run Citrix and TS on the same machine.

Thanks very much for your answers. That was the answer I was looking for. Will install Citrix and hopefully the moaning will stop!

Citrix sits on top of Terminal Services, not alongside it. But uses the ICA protocol rather than Microsoft's RDP one so it can be used with lots of different types of clients.
