I followed procedure listed in the citrix knowledge base document CTX482629, however I cannot connect to the Citrix server ?

When using the ICA client from and external address the Citrix server cannot be seen.

Has anybody set this up ?

Darragh

Yeh I do that is why I am a bit confused as to why I am not seeing the server from an external client

Sounds like IP problems. Does this server have an alternate Ip address for external clients? Or does the router\firewall NAT it to the internal IP number?

the citrix server is published on the ISA server.

As per the citrix knowledge base doc, I am using an alternate address. Whether I request the client to use alternate address or not does not matter, the server cannot be seen.

Should one or the other only be used ?

The client should have his setting on using the alternate adres. What do you use for application resolving? (UPD 1604, tcp/ip 80 or https 443?) Do you use a dedicted xml port, or is it shared with IIS?
