Any ideas how to map a WYSE terminal serial port through citrix so a citrix application can access this port as if it were local?

This works on all 32bit os's and i have had it working no probs, but on a WYSE 1125se terminal?! HELP!

Hope someone can help?!

Cheers

Is it a printer ?

I have done it with Parallel but not serial. However it should be pretty similar. There should be a bit in the BIOS of Wyse, I would also check for latesst firmware too.

Scott,

Mate actually its a stupid Banking program that requires a modem. Im trying to citrix the application, and then get it to dial out over a remote wyse terminal (to ensure dial in charges are left at the client side, but also becuase the bank only accepts from that particular number at present, and charges to change the stupid number to our dial out range)

Any ideas? :-)

Stupid banking programs....... :-)

I see your problem. Unfortunately IO don't have one in front of me at present. I would start at the wyse site, see if they have any info. You could even try calling them.

Hey they have a serial port so you must be able to use it eh ?

I am going to do a search for stuff.
