We are looking to upgrade our method of downloading files from Citrix. The following outlines our current method of downloading files and the method we would like to move to.

Current method:
Our current method of retrieving files from a remote Citrix server is via Program Neighborhood (Custom ICA Connections). We manually access the server or use a macro which supplies the UserName and Password to fields on a user interface. From this we download our necessary files.

Updated method:
We are upgrading our system and looking to create (or implement an existing) tool to download files without requiring the user interface. This program would be invoked by the Automated Task Scheduler at a preset time. If a new program requires development, the application will be written in Visual Basic 6.0. We would be interested in the ability to download our files by passing the necessary credentials (including Domain, UserName and Password) as string with parameters rather than manipulate the user interface of Program Neighborhood.

Is this possible? And if so, what would the format of the parameters of the string I would need to send in order to access the appropriate folder and download our files from the Citrix server?
