When moving between Cisco WAPs on the same subnett, will your computer (XP Pro) automatically detect the new access point or will you have to log back on to the network?
 
Yes, *IF* things are configured correctly. The APs can not be on the same channel nor adjacent channels such as channel 1 and 2. So one would be on channel 6 and the second on channel 1 for example. Both APs should be on the same subnet. The goal is to keep a PC in the overlap zone to keep from bouncing from AP to the other.

I should have said that the channels "should not be" instead of "can not be".. too damn early without caffine ;)
