Hi all...
I recently purchased a new WINXP machine. I also have a dsl connection to the internet. I succesfully installed a Linksys router to share the DSL between the new machine and an older WIN98 machine. At this point, my Cisco VPN connection to one of my customers was working just fine on both machines.
Then, like an idiot, I decided to get fancy and network the two machines to share folders back and forth. I ran the network wizard on the XP machine. Part of that process was to create a network disk that was to be run on the WIN98 machine. At that point, when I ran it on the WIN9 machine, the VPN connection on the WIN98 machine quit working.
I enabled logging on the VPN connection software, and I'm getting "malformed message" errors.
Anybody have any ideas what went wrong, and how to fix it?
Many thanks,
Mike Minor
