Hi, Im having a problem with my cisco 2600. Im trying to foward a port range of several thousand ports but this seems near imposible. I wanted to know if a) do cisco support UPnP mapping b) is there any other way to foward a range of ports using nat/pat?

Thanks Andy

Cisco don't support UPnP on any IOS router. I asked the question a while ago and was told this functionality is more of a Home User feature and as such is avaialble on the LinkSys products but NOT IOS routers.
You can map an entire Interface or a specific outside IP address (if you have more than one) to a specific host so all ports are mapped. There is any way to map a range of ports so you would need to do each individually or translate at the IP level and NAT everthing.
