Switches are layer 2 devices, TCP/UDP are layer 3; this type of filter must be applied to a router. Even higher-end switches like the 6500 series must have a route processor to do this type of filtering.

I have two 3550 switch-routers too
they made bacbone .They are 3 layer switches.
Can I block ports ?I learn that I can
create Access Lists and deny TCP port
and udp
that is right ?
