I am looking to purchase a used 2900 series switch. There are so many different models and I have been looking at cisco's website for clarification. Does anyone have a good link they can post that gives a good description of the differences/capabilities between the models (2924M,2912, XL, etc).

Thanks

peace

The only differences are generally what interfaces are on the switch , if you plan on getting one of these old boats make sure you get the newer 8 meg models that runs enterprise IOS . Stay away from the old 4 meg models they won't be able to do trunking and many other things found in more modern switches.
