Hi there,

I have managed to be able to connect to setup the pix firewall so it can act as a vpn server for site to site and mschap auth for window users.

Site to site works fine and can see the computers inside the LAN of 192.168.16.x
But when a user connects to the vpn through the MSCHAP auth on windows, it cannot see the computers in the LAN 192.168.16.x
I was wondering where I have gone wrong?

The network layout looks something like this:

[internet] --> [adsl router (192.168.1.1) --> [PIX (192.168.1.2)-outside (192.168.16.254)-inside] ---> LAN SWITCH --> computers

The adsl router is setup to have the pix on its DMZ zone.

When a windows user connects to the vpn he recieved an ip from the vpnpool of; 172.16.81.x
Looking at the settings, it has a default gateway of 192.168.1.2

If you guys can spot anything that would be great.

Thanks very much in advanced.

Oh I think I know what the problem is but not sure how to implement it, I would need to setup a split tunnel for the MSCHAP VPN.

Any ideas how its done?

Probably something to do with the nat command I guess to allow the traffic from 172.16.81.0 to go through 192.168.16.0 ?
