Cisco Ping MIB HIgh Mem Usage

I have implemented Cisco Ping MIB into MRTG / RRDtool successfully, but unfortunately I am noticing that the IP SNMP process consumes a lot of memory and doesnt release the memory, even if the polling stops. The only was to clear this is to reboot the router.

Has anyone had any problems with Cisco Ping MIB, or do you know of any sites I coudl read up more on it? I could only find IP SNMP high cpu usage on CCO.
