Cisco password

Is there an easy way to reset a switch password?

I have a Catalyst 3548 and it is no longer accepting the password I originally configured.

Is there a default password? Can I just go through the console prot and reset it without knowing the original password?

You will need to access the switch troufh the password recovery procedure found on the Cisco website.

I heva never seen a default password to get into a Cisco device.
