Hi

I have a couple of cisco 803's that im playing around with and trying learn.

Is there anyway to fake an isdn connection , as i dont have any isdn lines to test the configuration I have 2 routers i would to know if i have set them up correctly?

Thanks :D

You can get provider-side ISDN VIC's but this is another expense, plus these only work in VIC slots so you need at least a 1751V router. Alternatively there are usually sellers on eBay offering small 2-port ISDN BRI exchanges (home SOHO type boxes) quite cheaply. I got one a year or so ago for about UK £40. I can't find the exact one I purchased (it was a Deutsche Telekom Eumex 322) this looks similar though:
