Please Help

I have deleted the image file from the flash card of a 2600 router.Consiquently when I relaoded, it just came up with the rommon prompt. Although I have the Cisco CD with software on it, it only contains .bin files. How do I convert or get hold of an image file.

Thanks

Rob

You'll have to setup a TFTP server to get the image back on the router...

Then from ROMMON use something like the following (with the ethernet port attached to your lan, and the appropriate addresses for your LAN, and image name)

IP_ADDRESS=192.168.1.240
IP_SUBNET_MASK=255.255.255.0
DEFAULT_GATEWAY=192.168.1.1
TFTP_SERVER=192.168.1.103
TFTP_FILE=c2600-is-mz.122-5.bin
