It's always good to get certifications, even if their value is diluted. It shows inititive, drive, dedication and somewhat of your ability level. Plus most HR people are clueless and are impressed by a long string of letters after your name. Just understand that a CCNA/CCDA really means squat to most professionals so don't brag/boast about having one at all. It will make you look very stupid in their eyes.
