Cisco 678 Help???

does cisco run a proxy? because when i try to connect to a irc server and it connects be because i have an open proxy, but i dont run a proxy server.. could cisco be doing this? does anyone know how to fix it?

Negative friend. 675 runing cbos (as well as the 678) do not require/use a proxy. If you are trying to connect to an IRC server, there are no extra steps required in the modem to establish connectivity. Chances are its the configs in the app you are using. I use many chat clients (MSN, mIRC, Yahoo) and my 675 runs them all smooth.
