Cisco 3640 running-config

Hello,

I have a problem with Cisco 3640 router. When I write show running-config via console mode I can't see configuration. I am only able to see startup-config. After reset of the router I can see both configurations. When router works some hours, days (do not exactly know) problem appears again.

Does anyone have any suggestions what could be the reason?
What is the procedure to find this out and finally fix the problem?

It could be a memory or processor related problem. Would you post a sh proc mem and sh proc cpu (just the headers: 5 initial lines).
