Hi,
I want to have (2) Cisco 3560's 10/100/1000 w/4 SFP modules (WS-C3560G-48PS-S) function as one stack and also link back to a stack of 3750's (the 12 SFP models which function as my network core) My goal is to get the "maximum" amount of bandwith possible in the link back to the 3750 stack from the 3560s. Any recommendations? I would like the 3560s to function as one managed IP unit. I am assuming this can be done through the 50cm SFP interconnect cable, but is it possible to use 2 of them together. (ex. 2 interconnect cables between the 3560's and then another 2 fibre connections from each switch back to the 3750, which means i'll end up using all 4 of the SFP slots on both switches.) Is there a better way?

Thanks,
Scott

It is not possible to 'Stack' the 3560's. You can configure them as a 'cluster' but they all operate as independant switches - i.e. they each each participate in STP. You could create an EtherChannel on each 3560 and use either STP load-balancing or Layer-3 load balancing.
You may be better using 3750's in the access-layer since when stacked using the stackwise cable appear as one logical device.

The SFP interconnect cable is just a cheap alternative to 2 1000BaseT SFP's and a bit of cable....

HTH
