We are looking into the Cisco 3560 w/POE...

Can POE be turned on/off port by port or is POE always on for all ports?

Can you plug normal PC's and Printers into a POE switch or only a POE device?

Thanks...

Good question on the first one, honest answer, no idea. Im sure there is a command.

Second question, I know that one lol :) Doesnt make a difference, the port detects if the device is PoE and sends power, otherwise your standard network card from PC / Server / Printer causes no harm.

you can definately turn it off (PoE) and you can definately patch in pc's or printers direclty.
