I am using cisco 3524 switch and I want to redirect http traffic to a cashing web server. Is this possible with the cisco 3524?

It is possible to port-replicate, ie the data that is coming out one port is copied and sent out another port. For more information visit

I don't think that's what he's looking for. He wants port 80 traffic to redirect to an address. Kinda like a trans-proxy.

No, it's not possible on a 3534 switch. You can only redirect traffic on a router or layer 3 switch (ie 5505, 2948G) using the ip wccp web-cache command. For more info, check the Cisco site:
