Hello, I have a tel/data satlink to the location I am at in Iraq. There is a cisco 2950 that feeds our network with a t1 for the phone system, two pots lines for the faxes, and it also controls our company network. This cisco 2950 I do not have access to as it it supplied by the company who provides voice/data to us.
I just got a 48 port cisco 2950 and want to use it as a basic switch for the main sat feed. The problem is, whenever I plug machines/switches into it, It locks up the entire network?? How can I resolve this issue?
Secondly, I have another satellite internet feed, is it possible two plug both networks/ip ranges into the 2950 and distribute both networks from the 2950 so I wont have to use so many switches here?
