Cisco 2620 password issue and hopeful use issue

My company was having an auction and I picked up a Cisco 2620 for $2. So if this is a lost cause, oh well. I can get the IOS from Cisco, so whatever is on this router, I don't care if I lose it.

I have the console plugged in, and I can see it going through the boot process. I've read the Cisco password recovery, done the CTRL-BREAK thing, but still no go. During startup, I see the phrase:

PASSWORD RECOVERY FUNCTIONALITY IS DISABLED

Is it possible to hard-reset this router, or, am I looking at a paper weight? Do I have to pull the three memory modules, wait for a while, then plug them back in?

If this is NOT going to be a paper weight, then the next question I have is would it be possible to set this up so that it will work with my Rogers Cable services? The bootup states:

1 FastEthernet/IEEE 802.3 Interface(s)
1 Serial network interface(s)
1 ISDN Basic Rate interface(s)

The WICs I have are an ISDN BRU U and a T1 DSU/CSU.

If these two modules won't work, what would I have to locate? I'd like to replace the existing router (Its a REALLY old router, but would rather use it as backup rather than live) with this 2620. I'd also much rather NOT have to setup a virtual IP then have the existing router DMZ to a virtual IP.

Basically after you see all the hashes (#) look for the phrase "TEXT IMAGE" then hit CTRL-BREAK. It'll ask if you want to reset.

Well, even after the above, I posted too soon. It did not work. What I DID do was turn the router off, pulled all three sticks out, turned the router on, told me that there was no memory, stuck one stick in, powered on and repeated until it was booting. It stopped replying with "PASSWORD RECOVERY IS DISABLED" so thats awesome.

Now to do the recovery.

Yes I did, and I managed to get to the console. However, I don't think the router can be used for my purposes as its only got one ethernet port, and the WICs that are there I don't think are compatible with Rogers Cable services.

I'm not exactly sure which removable chip it was that was holding the info, but I did manage to recover the router without the password, and reset it as per the URL I posted.

If all else fails, give the machine temporary amnesia I guess. :]

Although it didn't help, I did notice on the board that there were two groups of RESET pins. One was a pair of pins with RESET on it, and another one with three pins and a RESET type of name. I don't recall what the three pin is exactly titled. What would those exactly `reset`?
