hello,

I want to connect my cisco 2600 router with my cable modem,
is it possible??? if it is how can I do it???

thanks

I do this with my cisco 2621, also you can use 2611 and 2514 as long the router has 2 ethernet ports. You will need IOS 12.2, most likely your cable ISP is providing DHCP. Configure one interface for outside(cable) and the other inside(internal), configure nat inside, and overload on the outside interface.

I would like to connect my CISCO 2600 router to a DSL504 D-link router. I understand that the DLink product can be configured to work as a modem instead. how do i go about connecting it to my Cisco router. Do i need an additional module card for my Cisco router.Pls. help

Thanks SWFL Hosting. I am a newbie to this, my D-Link router have 4RJ-45 10BaseT/100BaseTx switch ports with 1RJ11 for ADSL line. I would like to connect my adsl router this way

WAN
DLINK
CISCO 2600
LAN

How do i go about connecting it physically. Does the Cisco need an extra module card?
